He has started his career as Journalist and produced excellent reports. In 90’s he joined the Bar and made his mark soon. Mr. Rai has over two decades of standing at the Bar in the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, Commissions, Regulatory Bodies, and Tribunals, he has experience in litigation across a wide spectrum of civil, criminal, and revenue and constitutional issues. Mr. Rai represents the Union of India, along with many states including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Andhra Pradesh. He has represented various top corporate houses, celebrities, film stars, politicians, and chief ministers. Mr. Rai is also the Chairman of India Legal Aid Centre and the Chairman of India Legal Research Foundation. He was the former Vice Chairman of the National Anti-Doping Agency which is the premier organization under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports for promoting, coordinating, and monitoring doping control in all the sports in India. Mr. Rai has a deep-seated passion for access to justice. He has closely worked with former Chief Justices Hon’ble Mr. Justice M. N. Venkatachaliah and late Hon’ble Mr. Justice J.S. Verma, former chairmen of the National Human Rights Commission to strengthen human rights conditions across India.

Mr. Badhwar worked for more than two decades in the United States, where his work was published in leading magazines and newspapers such as the Washington Post. He was also associated with ABC TV. In India, he headed the India Today editorial team for more than 10 years, beside being an Executive Producer of TV Today and anchor to the popular weekly news magazine show Newstrack. He was also head of Sahara TV network and in the year 2000 he became the editor-in-chief of Media Transasia, which published niche publications like Swagat and Discover India. His 2004 novel, The Chamber of Perfumes (originally titled Sniffing Papa) won France’s most prestigious international award as the ‘best foreign debut novel’, an honor that went earlier to Salman Rushdie for Shame. Till recently, he headed Gfiles, India’s leading magazine devoted to issues of governance and bureaucracy.

He has deeply been involved with environmental activities. In 2008, he associated with UttarPradesh, Uttarakhnad Government to study Conventional Water Harvesting methods in Hilly areas. He travelled extensively in Lesser Himalayan Range, Kumaun Himalayan range & Shivalik range to study the philosophy of water conservation.

Shweta Rai is currently associated as Senior Anchor/Editor - Special Programming has handled a wide range of responsibilities in her 14 years with ENC. She leads a diverse team and is responsible for the co-ordination between the various departments (editors, camerapersons, production control room and the master control room) and content producers that ultimately lead to the broadcast or production of all content on the television channels. The day to day running of the programming and production department rests on her able shoulders - from packaging, event flows, and show structures. Shweta has 15 years of production experience with leading production hubs and news channels Her interest in the anchoring for off beat shows like Navrang, Kalam ke Sipahi, Face to Face, ek mulaqat- which are especially dedicated to culture and literature. With long years of hands on experience in the electronic media and as a stage anchor. Shweta has left her distinct mark in the minds of the audiences .Shweta has to her credit compering programmes for various cultural institutions.Her interest is her work.

Law graduate Vinay Rai has been in the electronic media for over 16 years executing a host of jobs that include reporting and production. He has worked for leading media houses like Zee among many others. He was the editor of Akbari, an Urdu publication. As director at E.N. Communications, he heads the television operations at APN. A creative thinker, problem solver and decision maker who effectively balances the needs of the employees with the mission. Vinay earned an additional professional qualification in journalism and mass communications from Lucknow University.
